Clomid is a very effective medication for both men and women.
Often referred to as the "fertility pill" for women, Clomid improves the stimulation of developing follicles (eggs)
in the ovaries. Clomid is an estrogen agonist /antagonist, it's effective for being an antagonist in breast tissues as well as
having a marked effect on the hypothalamus. 60-80% of women treated with Clomid will ovulate normally, with half
being able to become pregnant.
In men, Clomid is very effective for promoting the secretion of LH (Luteinizing hormone). In men, LH is responsible for the production of testosterone (the male hormone) by the Leydig cells of the testes in males. And is used in cases of infertility in men. By stimulation of LH, more sperms can be produced and higher testosterone levels may be achieved.
Clomid is also widely used among athletes and bodybuilders who abuse anabolic steroids and other performance enhancing substances. In these individuals, Clomid may have a profound effect as a post drug use therapy in returning natural testosterone production.

Common Uses
Clomid is a fertility agent used to stimulate ovulation in women who want to become pregnant. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
Before Using
Some medicines or medical conditions may interact with Clomid. INFORM YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST of all prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking. Inform your doctor of any other medical conditions, allergies, pregnancy, or breast-feeding. USE OF Clomid IS NOT RECOMMENDED if you have a history of liver conditions. Contact your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions or concerns about taking Clomid.
Directions
Follow the directions for using Clomid provided by your doctor. STORE Clomid at room temperature in a tightly-closed container, away from heat and light. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF Clomid, contact your doctor for instructions.
Cautions
Clomid MAY CAUSE dizziness, lightheadedness, or changes in vision. Do not drive, operate machinery, or do anything else that could be dangerous until you know how you react to Clomid. USING Clomid MAY result in multiple pregnancy (twins, etc.). Be sure you have discussed this possibility with your doctor. DO NOT USE Clomid if you are or become pregnant. If you suspect that you could be pregnant, contact your doctor. IT IS UNKNOWN IF Clomid IS EXCRETED in breast milk. DO NOT BREAST-FEED while taking Clomid.
Possible side effects
SIDE EFFECTS, that may go away during treatment, include hot flashes, nausea, vomiting, breast tenderness, dizziness, lightheadedness, headache, or mood changes. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you experience stomach or pelvic pain, bloating, or blurred vision. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
If you take too much
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, flushing, blurred vision, and stomach pain.
